Tech Contracts
My brother looking for a job recently reminded me of some seemingly common contract practises I have come across earlier in my life. Notably the clauses that state somthing about what one does on ones spare time and/or after one leaves the job.
It seems that there typically are restrictive clauses in these regards. Something like:
- We own everything you do
- You cannot work a similar job after leaving this job
- We expect you to dedicate yourself 100% to the company project/mission
etc.
Personally I hold such notions in low regard.
